Alison dances in seventeen rotating productions at The Metropolitan Opera, submerging into a wide range of roles from comedic to dramatic to deranged. She originates many of these roles in collaboration with the luminary directors and choreographers of our time. Recently Alison originated the longest Principal Dance Solo in The Met's history as the Senta Dancer who summons lightning in the twelve minute overture of Wagner's Der Fliegende Holländer.

Both at The Met and beyond Alison's collaborates with eclectic artists including Baz Luhrmann, Fiona Shaw, Zvi Gotheiner, Annie B Parson, Shen Wei, The Flaming Lips, Bart Scher, Phelim McDermott, Steven Hoggett, Kelly Devine, Jamie Nelson, William Kentridge, Ryan Heffington, Ann Yee, Francois Girard, Carrie Cracknell, Carolyn Choa, Des McAnuff, Martha Clarke, Dorian Nuskind-Oder, Gary Lucas.
