Electric Child is the new electro-pop-punk band fronted by Alison Clancy. Electric Child has already been banned from a few NYC venues due to Alison’s habit of jumping off pianos and knocking shit over. The music is sonically smashed by producer/bass player extraordinaire Roger Greenawalt (The Pierces/Ben Kweller) and style hittin drummer drummer Ethan Eubanks.
Electric Child made its public debut at CMJ in October 2010 and since then has performed to packed crowds at Knitting Factory, Mercury Lounge, Brooklyn Bowl, and the SPIN Magazine party at Stubb’s for SXSW. EC has opened for TV On The Radio, The Kills, Skrillex, Kathleen Hanna and Kim Gordon.
